SWAN LAKE HORSE SHOW HUGE SUCCESS FOR FOX HUNT FARM TEAM MEMBERS

 
FROM TOP LEFT:  Madison & Baltic Indulgence debut in the 3′ Children’s Eq and take home 2nd’s in the O/F and U/S; Callan Solem aboard Barbara Scott’s Cinderella, place 2nd in the Swan Lake Derby; Kristen and Large Pony, Lucky Charm, have a great day and qualify for the Medals/Pony Finals; Paige debuts with her Small Pony, Ace, in the Short Stirrup and brings home the Championship; Edwin wins Top Honors for the Best Groom for a Derby Horse; entire Fox Hunt Farm Team wins Best Barn at Swan Lake Horse Show; Callan accepting her ribbon/award on Cinderella; Barbara Scott, loyal 27-year Fox Hunt Farm client and matriarch; long-time client, Cindy, debuts in Low Adult Jumpers with her new horse, Heartbeat and brings home ribbons! 

 

FUN WITH FOX HUNT FARM SUMMER HORSE RIDING CAMPS!!

 Back for 2010, Fox Hunt Farm is holding (6) 1-week equestrian riding camps for kids, ages 6-17 years old.  Horseback riding camps will run from Tuesday-Friday and will include:  basic horsemanship skills, riding demonstrations, barn care basics, arts and crafts, AND RIDING DAILY on professionally trained ponies/horses.

DAYS:  Tuesday thru Friday
TIME:  9am-3pm (can be dropped off early at 8:45am and picked up as early as 2:30pm)
COST:  $350.00 p/week (includes snacks and drinks - kids NEED to bring lunch)

 Some of the hands-on learning will include:
-  Groom a horse and select proper tools.
-  Put a saddle & bridle on a horse.
-  Take apart, clean and put back together a saddle and bridle.
-  Adjust tack for a proper fit on the horse.
-  Wrap a horse’s legs - when and why.
-  Halter, lead and lunge a horse.
-  Identify parts of a horse (anatomy), breeds and colors.
JUST HAVE FUN!
